Description:
Giba-Bentonite is an optimal activated Ca-Bentonite with excellent physical properties.

Application:
Bonding material for green sand systems.

Good heat resistance
Good behaviour during shake out
High strength at low quantities used
High ability to keep water (humidity)
Good behaviour against drying out
High swelling volume - good coating of the silica grains
Good wet strength, low sensitivity against over-humidification and under-humidification of the moulding sand
Reduced susceptibility to scabbing
