Round hole filter "RLF"

In rectangular, square and round base shape, with smooth, round holes of uniform ∅ 1.5 - 3.8 mm and in various thicknesses. They are suitable for gray, ductile, heavy metal and aluminum up to a casting temperature 1480 °C. Their dimensional stability is responsible for consistent casting time results. The high mech. stability of our round-hole filters is suitable for large pouring height very well.

Ceramic foam filter SKF, AOF, ZOF

In rectangular, square and round base form and varying thicknesses. They have a foam-like structure with pores throughout, with many diversions. Their free hole cross section is dependent on the pore size, of approximately the same dimensions. They refer to 1 inch and are available in 10, 20 and 30 PPI (pores per inch) indicated. Slight deviations in the pore sizes lead to small variations in casting times.

Cell filter CELHOF

In rectangular, square and round basic shape and different thicknesses, they are square, smooth, continuous holes, and thin cell walls. Cell filters have, in relation to the total area of the filter, the largest free hole cross-section and thus the largest casting capacity. The high dimensional stability of the filter ensures same casting times. At low and medium concentration of the slag melt a good fluidity and a very intensive filtering effect is present. The latter leads to high fatigue strength values of the casting. They are responsible for font type to a casting temperature of 1450 °C or 1480 °C suitable. The resolution is stated in 100, 200 and 300 CSI (cells per square inch).

Labyrinth filter LF

They are created in layer structure, which are glued according to the desired thickness of two or more basic building blocks. This creates a maze with a large filter surface, whereby good filter performance can be achieved. The filter has a high dimensional stability, which has consistently resulted casting times. It is used for gray, ductile, heavy metal and aluminum up to a casting temperature 1470 °C. Labyrinth filters are currently available in size 50x50 mm and thickness 15, 18 and 22 mm.
